The transformations of political discourse in Latin America in the 80s. Liberalism and democracy
Abstract
This work is part of a broader discourse on neoliberalism in Latin American research at different historical moments. In this case we work on the 80 of the twentieth century when the transition to democracy in Latin America, reviewing the speeches of two approaches; critics who talk about the problem between democracy and capitalism, and those who think the democracies from liberal institutionalism. These were the prevailing at the time building a doxa that all critical consideration moves unevenly on structural conditions attached to dependent capitalism.
