“Seguir con el problema” de la pandemia: Chthuluceno y gubernamentalidades localizadas
Abstract
In this writing we propose to show some central lines of conceptual developments that acquired a renewed prominence in the framework of the Covid-19 pandemic together with the recovery and resignification that we began to carry out, in the light of the following, of key conceptualizations for the thought of the political. Thus, we briefly address the notions of anthropocene, capitalocene and capitalist realism, and then consider Donna Haraway's proposal articulated around the notion of Chthuluceno. On this basis, we present some initial reflections about the pregnancies that two ideas for approaching political phenomena with which we have been working in various research spaces may have to address the challenges of the present: the notion of place as a trans-relational articulation. scaling and the governmentality-transaction fields-subjectification framework as a way of thinking about power and the possibilities of agency from specific places. Finally, we recover the challenges ahead in relation to addressing the libidinal dimension of power relations and its implication in the possibilities of agency and transformation.
